John is an expert generalist with more than 20+ years of experience across the IT industry. His career in IT started doing desktop support for a hospital during the Y2K years. Since that time, John has worked his way up through the ranks, serving as a systems administrator and server engineer at different companies before becoming a Pre-Sales Engineer and solution architect for Lenovo. At Lenovo, John was the Americas pre-sales platform technical lead, consulting with customers on server architectures, HCI solutions, performance optimization and datacenter strategy.
John is currently the technical lead and one of the founding directors for Lenovo’s Field C Suite, the business strategy team focused on digital transformation, design thinking and the application of smarter technology. Their work centers on the analysis of future trends, tailored exploration, and discovery to help executive leaders look across their business with a new perspective.
