SINC is the host of intimate B2B dinner and 2-day forum events that service the CIO/Senior IT Community. Our events entice executives who are looking to expand their education, peer connections and understanding of the technologies available to their enterprises. Amongst other services, SINC offers top IT vendors the unrivaled opportunity to meet and engage with target customers in an environment that is customized to suit their specific needs and ultimately breeds long term relationships. Including forums and custom events, SINC has the capability to increase the touch point with each customer and create additional value beyond the market norm. SINC sets out to ensure stronger relationships are fostered with a clients’ customer quicker than the competition can offer.

Key responsibilities:

  • Will be trained in our CRM to assist with creating and deploying email campaigns, workflows and data cleaning
  • Use marketing tools to develop, deploy, track email campaigns, and measure success
  • Assist with the building of webpages and maintaining the SINC website using WordPress
  • Generate and organize data creating by lists
  • Attendee email communication pre and post event

Additional tasks as needed:

  • Potential to create and schedule strategic content for SINC LinkedIn and Twitter profiles and company blog
  • Work with the marketing team on various marketing materials and additional projects as assigned using Adobe Creative Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous Marketing experience
  • Degree in marketing or communications or a closely related field
  • Advanced in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • WordPress experience
  • Hubspot or similar CRM experience
  • Experience sending email marketing campaigns
  • Possess problem solving abilities and welcomes a challenge
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
  • Must be a self-motivated, self-reliant worker who is skilled at teaching yourself new information and working both alone and in a team
  • Willing to travel up to 25% within the US and Canada
  • Interest or knowledge of Information Technology/Technology industry a plus but not mandatory

Position Responsibilities

  • Identify potential IT leader prospects to attend SINC forums
  • Perform inside sales responsibilities including, but not limited to: LinkedIn prospecting and initial cold-calling to build client and executive relationship portfolio
  • Email and social media engagement to drive SINC website traffic and registration for SINC forums
  • Connect and maintain relationships with senior executive audience through multiple engagement formats – including at on-site events
  • Interest and self education on emerging IT trends, best practices, and key challenges within the IT industry
  • Define and strive for weekly SINC goals developed from annual goals
  • Willingness to travel and assist in delivery of SINC forums across the US
  • Maintain and update company CRM on a daily basis to assist in tracking of opportunities and sales metrics
  • Future responsibility to develop the SINC portfolio, including assistance in the direction of SINC product and audience development

  • Basic Microsoft Office knowledge – specifically Excel and Outlook
  • Experience using a CRM (preference to Salesforce)
  • Interest in IT and technology and the impact it has on business (B2B)
  • Proven networking skills
